About HooNext
A quarter century of
refusing shortcuts.
Founded in 1999 by two brothers who were tired of watching cheap roofs fail. Twenty-five years later we still start every job the same way: on the roof, camera in hand.
The story
Started in a garage.
Grew the hard way.
HooNext started with a single ladder rack and a promise: never sub the work out. Twenty-five years later, we still don't. Every crew is W-2, background-checked, and trained on the exact systems they install.
We turned down the growth playbook — buying leads, chasing storms out of state, hiring day-labor. Instead we invested in six in-house crews, three project leads with manufacturer master certifications, and a documentation process that adjusters have called "the best in the market."
Today HooNext installs about 400 roofs a year across the Kansas City metro. Half of that is repeat customers or their neighbors. That's the number we're proudest of.

What we believe
Five things we won't do.
Sub out your job
Every roof is installed by W-2 HooNext employees. Full stop.
Cold-knock after storms
We don't chase hail. If we show up, you invited us.
Bid the cheapest option
Our estimates land in the middle. That's on purpose.
Skip the deck inspection
We open it up before we quote. Rotten decking is a surprise no one wants.
Vanish after installation
Same phone number for 25 years. Same crews. Same warranty.

The people
Family-owned. Family-run.
Danny and Marcus Hoo founded HooNext in 1999. Danny still climbs roofs. Marcus still writes estimates. Their sister Elena runs operations. Three of their original hires from 2001 are still with the company as crew leads.
