Estimates & pricing

How long does an inspection take?+

About 45 minutes. A project lead climbs the roof, photographs every plane, checks the deck if we can access the attic, and hands you a written report before we leave.

Do you charge for estimates?+

Never. Inspections and written proposals are free, whether you hire us or not.

Why is HooNext not the cheapest bid?+

Because we use full ice-and-water shield, install synthetic underlayment, and won't cut corners on ventilation or flashing. Our estimates land in the middle — and stay there. No change orders.

Installation

How long does a residential reroof take?+

Most homes: two to four days. Complex tile or metal systems can take one to three weeks. We'll give you a firm date range at the proposal stage.

Do you subcontract the work?+

No. Every install is done by W-2 HooNext crews, led by one of our certified project leads.

What happens if it rains?+

We watch forecasts obsessively and stage material accordingly. If weather forces a pause mid-tear-off, we tarp the entire roof at no cost and finish the moment it's dry.

Warranty & materials

What's the warranty?+

Depends on the system, but our residential asphalt jobs come standard with GAF Golden Pledge® — 50 years on materials, 25 years on workmanship, non-prorated, fully transferable.

Do you install metal roofs?+

Yes. Standing seam and stone-coated steel are two of our most-requested systems. We have a dedicated metal crew.

Can you match my existing shingle?+

Usually. We keep an in-house library of major manufacturer color samples going back 15 years for repair matching.

Insurance & storm damage

Will you meet my insurance adjuster?+

Always. We meet adjusters on-site for every claim, provide our own detailed photo report, and advocate for what's actually needed.

Do I have to pay my deductible?+

Yes, by Missouri and Kansas law. Any roofer who offers to 'waive your deductible' is committing insurance fraud. We don't do that.

How fast can you tarp a leak?+

Within four hours for anything inside the KC metro. Same-day for the whole service area.
